Between one task and the next
You pick up your phone for a second and come back with less focus.
LESS TIME LOST IN THE FEED
Use the apps you need without getting stuck.
Choose apps and a mode. Check them for a while. When the time runs out, they lock. No option to stretch it a little longer.
For social apps or any app where you lose more time than you would like.
IT HAPPENS
You pick up your phone for five minutes. Half an hour has gone by and you did not even notice. That is how doomscrolling starts: one quick check, then one more piece of the feed.
You pick up your phone for a second and come back with less focus.
You watch a couple of videos to unwind and bedtime gets pushed back again.
You open an app on impulse and lose exactly the time you did not have spare.
WHAT YOU GET BACK
It is not a daily limit that shuts those apps from the first minute. It lets you check them for a few minutes and cuts the loop once the short session has already turned into lost time.
APPS, WEBSITES, SAFARI
Stop Scrolling works as an iPhone app blocker for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Safari websites and any app you choose. You decide the places that pull you into the loop; the limit counts across them together.
Use the app normally for a short window. When the shared time is gone, the selected apps are blocked for the mode you chose.
If the same habit moves to the web, Safari sites can be part of the same setup instead of becoming an easy workaround.
Stop Scrolling uses Apple Screen Time permissions to apply limits in the background. No live dashboard, no visible countdown, no extra thing to keep checking.
HOW IT WORKS
TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube or any app where you lose more time than you would like.
There are three fixed modes. Time counts across all the apps you select, not separately.
From that point on, those apps stay blocked for the block period of that mode.
No timer to watch. No extra app to keep checking. The block arrives when the feed has already gone too far.
No timer to watch while you use the apps
No dashboard to keep checking
Choose the apps you want to limit, not only social feeds
THREE MODES. NO FUSS.
Light
A light brake for the habit that keeps stretching.
Balanced
The everyday balance: enough time to check in, then a real pause.
Hardcore
For days when you do not want the feed to get a second chance.

Stop Scrolling does not add a five-more-minutes button. Once the configured time is gone, the block stays for the selected mode's block period. As with any iOS Screen Time app, system permissions still need to remain enabled.
